Clarke Duncan is the Director of Costa Insider SL (est. 2015) and co-founder of Torrevieja Translators along with Sebastian Dombrowicz, setup in 2018. Clarke moved to the Torrevieja area in 2014 from Scotland having had a holiday home in the area before becoming a resident. As well as having established businesses back in the UK, Clarke set up a local company in 2015 and while the majority of the things Costa Insider SL did where online mostly for English speakers in or interested in the local area, he was always searching for quality reliable translators to help with different projects as his level of Spanish was still very much in the beginner level. So, in 2018 he teamed up with Sebastian in order to found Torrevieja Translators and then in early 2019 hired Brandon to give the service additional support so we can be available for our clients when they need us.
The mission for Torrevieja Translators is to be a professionally run translation and interpretation service that are fully legal that mainly cater for ex-pats who need help and support navigating Spanish bureaucracy as well as being the voice for our clients when dealing with Spanish speaking people in authority. Our goal is not only to interpret when you need us but to solve issues and set up systems and processes so people requiring NIE, Residencia and Driving Licences Exchanges etc. can do it quickly and efficiently at a value for money cost. As a company we pay our Taxes, our prices include IVA, so no nasty surprise that the bill is 21% higher than expected. By being fully legal and having the support of honest clients who want to enjoy the Spanish life, we are helping fund the services that so many of our customers rely on in their hour of need.
Clarke is also the owner of the local Facebook group Orihuela Costa Buy and Sell with over 33,700+ members.
