Costa Insider SL reserves the right to amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time giving notice of when changed terms are posted on the Torrevieja Translators website via our Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/torreviejatranslators.

1. Commencement and Termination

This Agreement shall come into force upon your acceptance as a Client of Torrevieja Translators and shall remain in effect until terminated.

The Client is entitled to terminate this Agreement with immediate effect at any time.

Costa Insider SL is entitled to terminate this Agreement and/or suspend Clients from the Torrevieja Translators service at any time, giving reasonable notice where possible.

2. Payment

Clients will make payments to Costa Insider SL either via bank card with prior notice (before the service is undertaken) or in cash on the day the service is delivered.

All services must have a non-refundable deposit of 10 € paid in advance unless otherwise agreed such as emergency appointments that are booked last minute.

The Client will be given a quote for our services, please note that if you are outside of our service area or you require us to go collect documents on your behalf an additional fee may be applied but you will be told about this in advance.

If you have booked us to attend an appointment, but no translator is needed, you will still be liable to pay our minimum call out fee of 25 €.

After 14 days have passed, the Client can no longer ask for a refund in full. Note deposits are never refundable if you do not go ahead with the service you have booked.

The Client, if after signing up to any of our services, doesn’t use the service entirely and has not asked for a refund inside the first 14 days, then they forfeit all rights to a refund.

3. Clients Duty

The Client understands that when they are booking us for in-person translation that they are booking us by the hour. We will attend your appointment at the given time aiming to arrive 10 mins in advance in most cases. Your hourly rate starts from when we arrive until we are dismissed. Please note that you should try your best to estimate how long we will be needed as we will most likely have other appointments that day. If transport by the translator is requested and agreed, your hourly rate starts from when your picked up until you are dropped off, please note clients living outside our service area will be charged an out of area fee to cover the cost and time to get to them and return to normal service area, this will be discussed and agreed in advance.

Client will provide original and valid documents, so we can perform the job we have been asked to carry out. If documents required for appointments are incorrect or not acceptable, we carry no responsibility. The client understands that if changes occur by authorities that require us to cancel or rebook, Costa Insider SL won’t be held responsible due to 3rd party actions. Costa Insider SL do not offer discounts to clients if we or they have to return to the same appointment due to circumstances outside of our control.

Client will provide original and valid documents, so we can perform the job we have been asked to carry out. If documents required for appointments are incorrect or not acceptable, we carry no responsibility. The client understands that if changes occur by authorities that require us to cancel or rebook, Costa Insider SL won’t be held responsible due to 3rd party actions. Costa Insider SL do not offer discounts to clients if we or they have to return to the same appointment due to circumstances outside of our control.

None attendance or last-minute cancelations by the Client will incur a loss of any deposits paid. The Client can cancel an appointment up to 72 hours in advance without losing the deposit and reschedule for another time/date.

The amount we charge is for the process, not the result. Results can never be guaranteed by anyone (the Spanish Government ultimately decides).

For UK clients only, we do not guarantee you will get an appointment for Driving Licence Exchange or TIE before the end of the 2020 transition period.

4. Indemnification

The Client shall keep Costa Insider SL indemnified against any claims for damages or other claims for compensation arising from the use of the Torrevieja Translator service or any incorrect information given to Costa Insider SL by the Client.

5. Liability Limits

COSTA INSDER SL TOTAL LIABILITY TO THE CLIENT INCLUDING IN CONTRACT AND TORT (INCLUDING THE TORT OF NEGLIGENCE) SHALL NOT EXCEED 5 TIMES THE FEES OR 200,00 € (TWO HUNDRED EUROS) WHATEVER IS LESSER.

6. Client Information

The Client consents to Costa Insider SL being given access to private and confidential information about the client while performing tasks for the Client.

Costa Insider SL may contact the Client by email, text message, telephone or post for feedback relating to the service including any ways in which the service might be improved.

7. Applicable Law

This Agreement is subject to the laws of Spain and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.

If any dispute arises out of this Agreement the Parties will attempt to settle it by a mediation procedure as the parties may agree in writing.
